So my cousin lives in Miami, his son coaches ball around the area. The highlights I am posting are his first year starting,,, running the same offense Georgia is using now, a pro style passing attack with multi-sets. Sorry TW there is no way based on this he sits behind anyone at UW unless he's...
I still like the attitude of this team, enthusiastic, very encouraging to each other....now if they would just stop making stupid mistakes.
Give Love a running game and some time and you can win games with him. Nice win!
I'm not surprised by the inconsistency, but I am mildly surprised they lost to the Raiders. GB is the better team, talent wise. This was a game they should have won.
This one was more deflating than the DET loss, partly because the OL was so beat up, it was on a short week (Thu game) and DET is...
When you go into a 4th quarter with a 12 point lead and give up 446 yards of offense, that is squarely on Dingle Barry and the defense. Alexander had a garbage game as well and this team has too much talent on defense to play that bad.
Love did fine today considering what he had to work with...
Rodgers was bad yesterday, and hasn't been good all season.
The pass blocking was not the problem, but the run blocking was terrible. Against f^*&( Detroit who can't stop the run.
The receiving corpse was a bunch of stiffs again. Running wrong routes, not getting open and not catching the ball...
- The window is officially closed for Rodgers for another SB, hell even playoffs. This team was brutal on O and the D is directly impacted. The Offense has sloppy execution, terrible head scratching play calling or a lethal combo of both.
-Why is #8 still here? oh, Guty high draft pick, move...
Won't bother with the full 53, but have a few players to highlight:
Gone:
Juwann Winfree. Not any good. Can't get open and can't fight for balls when he's covered. Special teams sucks either way.
Keep:
Chris Slayton (not T.J. Slaton). Good interior disruptor. Even if he's not a stout...
This whole thing at times is just like Rodgers/Favre back in the day. Packer fans just can't let long time players go. I have lived on both coasts and Wisco is the only place that does this.
The issue is Rodgers (again) didn’t execute in a playoff game. Rodgers is not going through his progressions and/or taking what the defense gives him. MLF set up the framework for Rodgers to succeed, which he has in the regular season. For whatever reason the offense has failed in the playoffs...
I won't judge Love too harshly given the receivers he was throwing to and some of the OL playing. Just don't know yet if he's got it. Amari Rodgers looking more and more like another 3 round pick mistake. He may be inactive in the playoffs.
I'm still boggled that an NFL team can be this bad at covering kicks.
I honestly didn't think they could get much worse than they'd been the last four or five years, but they are.
It would be great if Jaire, Z, or Bakh can suit up and play in the last 2 or 3 games. If they can’t get healthy until the playoffs, I would consider just leaving them on IR.
So many angry thoughts in one post:
1) Special teams cost them a second game.
2) When the Packers rough the passer, it negates an INT, but when the Vikings rough the passer, it adds 15 yards to the kickoff.
3) The coin toss bit them in the butt today. The Vikings had one more possession than...
