MUCH more impressive then Barry was in his first presser.. Some things that I wanted that I heard...
1) TEACH - mentioned numerous times that coaching is really teaching
2) Energy from the entire staff. I always told our players that for us to be good , I couldn't be the person in the gym with...
Defense wore down. And that’s a really tough matchup for Love. SF has some really good, veteran players in the back 7 and they knocked him out of his comfort zone with their coverages.
All those young receivers and tight ends and Love got so many valuable snaps. They’re going to be able to...
We’ve been playing two months straight of back against the wall football. The 9ers haven’t played a meaningful game in almost a month. I think you want to take the ball first again. I think we might be able to get in a cheap shot with our sharpness vs them knocking off the rust. And then right...
We have at least one more year of fixing the offensive line with reach draft picks that don't pan out before we do anything with our QB, I think. major changes could happen after that.
Last year it felt like everyone was ready for the post Rodgers slump, and now everyone is convinced the coaching stinks because they can't win with 30% of the salary cap on IR/another roster and a QB who's making his 5th start.
I'm in full blow R-E-L-A-X mode:
-Love makes some big throws and...
I think around 8-9, as others stated the defense is still an issue and I still see signs of our OL being a mess in pass pro. I think we need another draft and off season to get back to the 10 plus win range. tc(
I think Love has really good tools apart from accuracy, so if he can improve that a bit he should be really good. I lean toward about seven wins next year though not so much on Love not being good but that the WR group isn't particularly talented and the TEs probably won't contribute much this...
That's a big one. If he'd picked 'Bama(who offered) he'd be a top 150 prospect in about 6 weeks).
2nd highest rated CB the Badgers have picked up in the "internet recruiting era," per TheAthletic.
2nd straight year with a 4 star.
They've got a top 150 Safety who should be emerging this year...
Packers scout says that they will start Wooden inside but they think he can play over any gap and will be moved around.
He's quick, he's athletic. Some guys are athletic but not loose. He has quickness and fluidity of an athletic player.
They did use him some in a two-point stance some because...
JL better step up the recruiting and fast, after next season they have nothing behind Mertz and it appears not much behind Allen. The defensive secondary is full of portal guys as well.
I actually like Jim L a lot but I think PC left him some challenges and Chris M won't be much help in...
Solid post Mark.
Sometimes your players just don’t play well. They don’t block. They don’t tackle. They drop the ball. They make mistakes. Sometimes they get hurt.
In 2019, everything fell just right and we won 13 games with a 9 or 10 win team. We got all the calls by the refs. This year...
I think it's a Rodgers thing...and that's especially obvious on the RPOs...like the 4th down play where Myers drove his man 3 yards into the endzone and Dillon would have had a walk in TD. I don't even remember the 3rd down play or if they opened a hole, but it was basically the same play...
