Packer were talking to TJ Barrett QB Ohio State.
I'd actually like to see the Packers grab Barrett if he drops to the 5-6 rounds. I grabbed him in a mock at round 7 but I don't see him sitting around that long.

isn't he too short for the nfl?

according to this article, he's projected to be a 7th rounder or udfa.

JT Barrett is 6' 1" He's a little short but he did fine behind the LOS at OSU. Remember what everyone said about Wilson. I'm not picking Barrett to be the future QB by any means but I think he would be a solid back up

I wouldn't touch Barrett any more than I'd welcome Cam Newton as part of the Packers. Sorry! Just my opinion. If given the option, I'd rather have Callahan than waste a pick on him. Or...... get Flynn back in harness.

TW is it his physical skill set, or is it his mental attitude that turns you off TJB? If he is selected with one our 7th round picks, do you see him be a locker room cancer carrrying a clipboard or lacking in the ability to carry our a short pass west coast offense?

they say he's 6'1", but i think they're stretching that a little. anyway there are other issues with barrett that raise red flags. i just think we could do better.
