- Packers got noticeably louder cheers from the crowd than the Colts when both teams were announced by the PA here. Nice contingent of fans making the trip to joint practice in Indiana.

- Packers pass catchers performed well in 1 on 1’s vs Colts. Golden won 2 reps with shifty moves. Top 4 TEs all made their plays. Heath & Hardman won deep.
- Anthony Belton at RT with twos showing he’s a run blocker no one wants to deal with.
- Colts LB Franklin shoots gap on first Jacobs run. No way to know if he gets him down. If not, Jacobs was around the edge.
- Latu with sack of Willis on first pass play.
- Colts blow up first Wilson run.
- Two incomplete passes downfield.
- Rough start for Packers ones on offense.
- Jacob Monk rotated in at RG.
- Protected well, Elgersma hits Neyor on a deep over. Good rep there.
- Disjointed first 11-on-11 period for Packers offense. Penalties and incompletions. Understandable given Packers w/o QB and five WRs, but still not pretty.
- No scuffles, but Tucker Kraft got in Zaire Franklin’s face after the play. I’m standing behind big humans on the Colts sideline, so didn’t see exactly what happened. Play was an incompletion where Matthew Golden ended up on the ground.
- With a garbage bucket in the back corner of the end zone, Willis hit the rim twice in a row from the 15-yard line.
- RZ work. Checkdown to FirzPatrick in left flat, misdirection Jacobs run goes nowhere, Willis boot right run option, hole for Wilson who lowers his pads, Brooks follows by dropping his pads at the goal line, front pylon for Heath is well defended.
- Colts D as expected has edge vs. Packers O missing Love and several WRs. Playing out that way.
- Nice hole for Lloyd on first RZ play for twos.
- Brooks in the flat drops his pads again. He’s not shying away from any contact.
- Elgersma hits Hicks for TD in back corner.
- Willis for Golden in EZ is too high. Tried to give him a chance to make a play in small window but no dice.
- Hits Johnson on cross in ez on next play. Good throw and catch as Johnson takes a shot to the head by Franklin, which draws flag. He seems OK.
- Now Brooks loses ball after short catch while fighting toward goal line.
- MarShawn Lloyd nice, quick burst red zone for TD.
- Back to full field, finally some room for Jacobs, up the middle.
- Colts thought they had INT off low deflection but officials rule incomplete.
- Willis can’t find anyone and pocket collapses. Protection was there initially.
- Downfield shot for Golden, he reaches back and can’t haul it in as contact arrives. Tough one.
- Nice sidearm completion to Kraft with pressure in Willis’ face.
- End zone shot for Heath is broken up as 2 defenders converge.
- Malik Heath on an out route to the pylon in red zone, pass from Sean Clifford, TD.
- Neyor rises on a crosser and pulls down Clifford’s throw. Tough grab. Big WR has been showing up lately.
- Nice misdirection run by Abanikanda, who is back from his hamstring injury.
- Packers first offense in 2-minute: Deep shot for Golden incomplete
- High pass for Kraft goes off his hands incomplete
- Middle seam for Musgrave but he doesn’t know it’s coming. Colts D wins.
- Elgersma to Wilson on three straight passes to start two minute, getting to midfield with 30 seconds left.
- Fourth completion in a row to Sims and then throws ball away. Drive ends with a sack.
- I learned today that if the Packers lose Jordan Love and 5 of their top 6 wide receivers, they might be in trouble - Zach Kruse
- Rashan Gary came to practice, gets a sack of Richardson in team
- Oladapo, Williams, and Bullard all with the ones in nickel
- A pair of good run fits by Simmons in twos
- Rashan Gary beats Braden Smith for a sack to start second run through of No 1s
- Good start for Packers DL against Colts offense, especially against the run.
- Lukas Van Ness turns corner on Colts LR Bernhard Raimann for sack. He’s having a good camp, that former first-round pick.
- The Packers are getting push up front - Wooden just got home up middle to sack Richardson. Brooks was there too
- Ty’Ron Hopper on A gap blitz gets home…untouched.
- Micah Robinson helps break up pass to Laquon Treadwell
- I know I work for an NFL team website (aka pox) but that was a dominant period for Packers defense
- If that first team period is any indication, doesn’t matter who starts at QB for Colts this season. They’re in big trouble behind that offensive line. Packers defense just had five sacks, and these were easy calls. Jeff Hafley has to be awfully happy with that.

- Rashan Gary beats RT Braden Smith with speed off edge.
- Lukas Van Ness beats LT Bernhard Raimann speed edge.
- Quay Walker blitz up middle.
- Ty’Ron Hopper blitz up middle.

- Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones are dealing with constant pressure. Doesn’t matter if it’s the first string or second string.
- Former Packers RB Tyler Goodson not getting much vs GB defensive line in red zone
- Colts finally get into the end zone in their sixth rep inside the 15. A 3-yard run against Packers defense on third-and-goal. Something good had to happen for that offense.
- Next snap, football sails high over Anythony Richardson’s head. This is very one sided.
- Drop by Treadwell but I’m gonna give Bo a PBU. Melton island. ️
- Colts score on third down but Karl Brooks may have had a sack on the play. AR had to step up to hit Pittman

- Mitchell drop downfield turns into Keisean Nixon INT.
- On next play, Bullard strips Mitchell and Evan Williams recovers it.
- Richardson goes deep and Johnathan Baldwin flies in front of the receiver for an INT in twos. Well, it would’ve been a pick. If Brenton Cox Jr. hadn’t sacked Richardson first.
- Lukas Van Ness sack…again.
- Sorrell sack of Richardson and he just dirts it.
- Practice mvp so far: DeMarcus Covington.
- Isaiah Simmons just picked off Daniel Jones to end twos two minute
- Bo Melton & Micah Robinson both on No 1 kickoff coverage
- Bo Melton forces what would’ve been a fair catch in punt cover
- Daniel Whelan is doing great. Even fantastic, I’d say.
- Melton and Valentine are No. 1 jammers
- Either Tyler Kahmann or Ladarius Tennison (whichever 43 that was) punched at ball on punt cover and Keisean Nixon stood on business.
- FG time for McManus, who drilled one in warmups from 55 right down the middle with plenty to spare. With Colts on field, good from 38, 41, 44, 47 and 56, again with plenty. Impressive.
- Now McNamee, good from 40, 42, 45.
- Spencer Shrader (Colts K) just made a 63 yard field goal.
- Brandon McManus just hit a 70-yard FG that bounced off the crossbar and in. Wasn’t during a live period. They were just messing around, but…

- Matt LaFleur
- Says Jordan Love is at practice today, though he’s not participating.
- Says Romeo Doubs probably won’t practice today after sustaining a back injury in Tuesday’s practice. Nothing too concerning, he said. LaFleur actually said he thought Doubs was going to practice before getting a text not long ago that he probably wasn’t.
- On Jordan Love post-surgery on his left thumb: "Surgery went well, and he's in great spirits. He's here with us (at Packers-Colts joint practice). Now, it's just about putting in the work to get the thumb rehabbed. We anticipate that there will be some sort of participation next week.”
- On process of collaborating with Colts coach Shane Steichen for today’s joint practice, and what’s good about the unusual mid-afternoon start time. Apparently, Keisean Nixon told him this is the latest he’s ever had a regular practice.
