Badges with 11 incoming players in the portal. Though more work to do as the lost 20 kids in the portal. Also none of these kids are ranked higher then 3 stars.

It's an exciting thing for the sports radio guys to talk about and the writers to cover, but I am absolutely checked out until they get on the field and show me they are worth a damn. Nobody that's come into this program the last 2-3 years is worth paying attention to outside of maybe Posa.
I had checked out on the NFL several years ago, but I never thought my love for CFB could take such a hit. I followed the local D-3 (La Crosse and Platteville) and high schools more closely than Wisconsin.

Money has ruined the sport. Kids no longer going to school to try to win a national title or it's the best school to try to get them to the NFL. Now it's who pays the most money and who cares if they might not be good as long as I get a payday.

Badgers have received a portal commitment from Blake Cherry, a 6'5"-315# OT who appeared in all 12 games last year for Arkansas as a true freshman. Most of his reps were on special teams. Since the new Badger O-line coach, Eric Mateos was at Arkansas last year, you'd assume he knows this kid will fit what he wants to do. He might just be depth for this year, which is fine. Means they still probably need one more guy who can play right away.
