If Miami makes one salary cap cut that many people expect, there could be an appealing tight end on the market whom the Packers should consider.
The Green Bay Packers had another solid season on the defensive side of the ball in 2015. After the team finished 25th in the league in yards allowed for the 2013 season, they have finished 15th in each of the past two years. In terms of points allowed, the Packers also improved from 13th last year to 12th in 2015, allowing 25 fewer points.
All of that signals that the team is moving in the right direction on that side of the ball, and though some personnel moves are necessary to bolster a few positions, the coaching staff in place appears to be doing their jobs well. The quick development of young defensive backs is a testament to Joe Whitt's and Darren Perry's teachings in particular.
Thankfully, in today's curds we find news that all of the coaches on defense are expected to return for 2016. With Kevin Greene looking to return to the coaching ranks, it's theoretically possible that he might come back to Green Bay, especially with Winston Moss having coached all of the linebackers these past two years, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Why shouldn't they? After all, the defense was the strength of this Packers team down the stretch, and both Capers and his assistant coaches have developed young players very well in the past few years.
