Hello there!
I've always wanted to have the time to do this ever since waaaaaaay back on SportingNews, when I was involved in a group that did it. Anyway, it's my poll, so here I go!
Rank Team
1. Alabama--they beat Wisconsin, so they must be pretty darn good
2. Wisconsin--On Wisconsin, baby
3. Ohio State--they look pretty good, damn them
4. Auburn--Louisville looked pretty horrible at times on offense, but their jerseys were worse
5. Georgia Tech--damn, they dropped a beating
6. Notre Dame--I love when Texas gets whooped
7. Northwestern--Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... Stanford, another steal at home for NW
8. USC--Pac-10(12?) didn't impress, here's the best? Maybe?
9. TCU--thanks for beating Minnesota
10. Oklahoma State--thanks for making the trip north! Saw 2 old friends
11. Georgia--sure, why not
12. Baylor--offense will be ok
13. Michigan State--still treated like little brother
14. Oregon--lots of points, but look how many you gave up to E. Wash?
15. Florida State--will probably stick around here for a while
16. UCLA--looks alright, freshman QB may have it, may not
17. Clemson
18. Texas A&M--ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, Airzona State... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
ha ha haha ha haha ha ha... he he... A&M can still choke on it, though
19. BYU-- get bent, Nebraska, too bad BYU's QB is done. But I hope this
home opener streak-breaker lives on for a long time
20. Buffalo--Congrats to Whitewater's Coach Leipold for getting his first
FBS win!
Bottom Five:
124. Kansas--say goodbye to your football program in a year or two
125. LSU--couldn't even beat the weather, wimps
126. Penn State--seriously guys?
127. Wash. State-- didn't know they played football at Portland State, and
they beat you at your place
128. Minnesota--get used to it. My vote for this spot counts for 1000 points
So, there it is! Now, what I don't want is a bunch of discussion on how this poll looks. What I think I want, is for everyone to message me with their own poll by Wednesday afternoon, and I'll make our own composite.
You don't have to do 20, 15 is fine. or even 10. I will take as many polls as I receive by the cutoff point, and I'll put out to however many teams I feel like. Let's do this, and we can show how much smarter we are than everybody else.
