The Packers took a tumble from the top of the heap. That happens when you get blown out. But, as they indicated, a lot of what caused it was injuries.
Yet, when you go over the game, as much as injuries, it was failure on the part of the defense to cover receivers, and stop the Falcons running game on key running downs. It was actually pretty amazing that the Packers stayed as close as they did, with half their offense out, injured.
It's like so many of us said last week. These polls are beauty contests, because they don't really mean anything, but they at least give us an idea how others feel our team compares to others. I enjoy reading the "why" they are ranked where they are. Sometimes it's puzzling, and at other times it's like a light comes on and I think; "Gee! Never thought about it that way!"
