Nearly 15 million Charter Spectrum subscribers lost the ESPN family of networks. Wisconsin volleyball fans missed a top 25 matchup as a result.

Yeah read that Charter pays over $2 billion a year to carry ESPN and Disney is asking for a increase. All increases will be passed on to customers. So many people are already cutting the cord that Charter can not afford to keep raising prices and losing more customers.
 
we still have cable - but only for the internet connection.
 
We have the free cable and internet in the RGV, and use the Verizon 5G wireless system in the Austin area. I only use local channels to catch weather. I never watch shows that are scheduled at a specific time. I always watch On Demand, so I can establish my own viewing preferences.
