yes the routes are limited...it's made simple on purpose. It was considered the great equalizer at one time. However DC have figured out how to neutralize the edge. It has really hurt QB and OL the most... none of those kids have a clue in the NFL if they played spread the whole time.Doesn't it hurt the WR too? Don't they run simpler routes in a spread and also don't learn how to adjust when the QB is in trouble since he run or pass decision is made so quickly?
