Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

What a idiot. Many think Jenkins will be done in GB after this year and GB will release him as cap saving move after the season.

So, I don't know what happened other than a minor fracas.

I'm 63 and I'd be in a bar, but I've got a couple hours work to do. I'm not a strip club frequented, but to me it's just a fancy bar.

It's not during the season or camp.

If he didn't pull out a gun or didn't maim somebody, I can't judge him for being in a bar.

On a lighter topic, aren't we glad Gute didn't go, hey look Shedur's still available and draft him?

SMH on social media people talking about Trey Hendrickson because he said no talks between him and Cincy. I don't know why foolish fans think GB will trade for him. GB has cap issues coming up next year and a lot of choices to make on younger players if they get 2nd contracts or not. That means GB is not trading for a 31 year old pass rusher wanting 30+ million a year. Not when they already will have to be making choices like do they have to cut guys like Clark, Gary, Jenkins to gain cap space next offseason.

So what will be odds the Packers get to open at home this year? They have opened on the road for 6 straight years and out of the last 10 seasons only opened at home in 2017 and 2018. In 2018 the Packers asked the league to open at home vs the Bears to kick off the Packers 100th season. Will the league change or will they still with history and not have GB open at home until week 2 or 3 of the regular season?

Of course though oh you can get around the cap. Yeah GB did that for years and look at the mess they had to clean up after Rodgers. To many people get big name itas and think every big name FA can help GB. Sorry it's a mistake spending big money on Watt or Hendrickson. History has shown after 30 the drop off can come at any time and when it does it comes quick. Probably why Pitt and Cincy have not signed either yet they don't want to be the team paying a guy 40 million a year and he hits the wall and they are stuck with a bad contract.
