Playoffs Game 2 : Official Green Bay vs Dallas Thread

We can, and will beat the cowboys without Jordy. Rodgers is in a zone! Giants D that we shredded was a whole lot more talented than Dallas D
I'm right there with you brother diesel. Pack in a close one.

I'm sticking with 31 - 27 Green Bay. Late TD by the Cowboys to make it look closer than it was. I think the Packers offense will roll even without Jordy. Bold prediction: Cook gets 2 TDs and Richard Rodgers gets 1 TD.

Dallas police are searching for suspect in Ezekiel Elliott hit and run. Witness at the scene described suspect to sketch artist.

If we don't turn the ball over I think we can win this game.
This momentum is shades of 2010, Rodgers is playing out of his mind right now. Giants had the better D he abused them once he got going.
It's the playoffs, if we do lose it will of course be in the most painful/heartbreaking way possible. . .

Pack 28
Cowpokes 24

Well well well. Predicting this game.
I'll start here.
The records of these two teams are completely meaningless. The records don't indicate how these teams have been playing recently.

It's no secret, the Cowboys run game is absolutely elite. They are outstanding. Their line is fantastic and their RB is the best in football.

On the flip side.
The Packers offense as a unit right now is arguably the overall best in football. Aaron Rodgers is playing like the best QB to ever walk the planet, first quarter of last week aside. Receivers are making plays. The o-line is giving Aaron all the time he needs and there's at least a hint of a run game to keep defenses honest.
Now mix that with a Cowboys defense that is one of the worst in the NFL in completion percentage, Green Bay should be able to score.

I don't even think the Packers D needs to even come close to shutting down Elliot, he can get his. But you can't let their passing game be effective as well. If both are working, buh bye.

If the Packers defense can slow down the passing attack and create a couple turnovers, Packers win.
Dallas 31
Packers 27

I hope I am wrong.

the consensus of the talking heads seems to be that dallas will try to keep rodgers off the field by burning up the clock on offense with their running game. supposedly, garrett said as much to joe buck.

i'm not so sure that will be their actual game plan.
