Rodgers Wants Out

I know to many it’s not apples to apples but 10 years ago I left a job that I loved because the stress and was overwhelming. I took more than 1-2 “mental health days” to deal with it. After 2 years I left. I left to get MY mental health in check. My work life balance was more important than the alternative. Some of you might relate some might not. It was a life choice and to this day I am happier.

Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk
I can relate my friend. I quit a job I’d been at for 10 years because of burn out. Luckily I had the funds to make it work but I needed the time to work on my own crap. Again, super fortunate and privileged my wife and I could make it work but never had a regret about it, for the best in the long run.

Aaron Rodgers sidestepped questions on TNT about whether he would be quarterbacking the Packers on opening day. “I don’t know,” Rodgers said twice. “We’ll see.”

Remember everyone. It's called football. It's a game. During my lifetime I've seen a helluva lot of guys play QB for the Packers. Some good, some bad, some I can't even remember their names, unless you jog my memory.

If Rodgers is gone, it's Love's turn. It's just that simple. The Packers will go on. The team will go on. It's just the names on the jersey will change, but the majority of numbers will continue to be used. Even the best pass into history. It's kind of like it is, in the real world, where we can't count on anything except today.

If Rodgers doesn't show this year, that's his choice. His issues are real to him, and that's all that matters, to him. Most of us have dealt with our own situations for ourselves, or loved ones over the years, so we should be able to correlate it to ourselves. We need to give him, the team, the front office, and ourselves, the space to let this play out however it does.

In just a few weeks, no matter what, the Packers will start their preparations for a new season, and they will be playing their schedule with someone under center. It will be an interesting season, no matter what happens.

Be nice if someone else talked like this instead of the cryptic crap talk like he always does

Patrick Mahomes: “I'm just excited to get back to training camp and have another chance to make a run at it and win the Super Bowl this year."

something tells me that mahomes is probably happy with his half-billion dollar contract and the commitment by the chefs to sign him for 10 years. no time line worries

Mahomes is not in any dispute with KC. It’s not apples to apples
