It’s not pride. It’s philosophical which is a mindset.2 years ago money could have fixed Rodgers issues but now I think it's pride above money

Philosophical I call it pride/ego. He want's it his way and him backing down hurts it.It’s not pride. It’s philosophical which is a mindset.
Every player has an ego, that’s not even debatable. There is a major difference between pride and philosophical especially in this case. It’s philosophical about culture which has nothing to do with pridePhilosophical I call it pride/ego. He want's it his way and him backing down hurts it.
Different style pitchers.Never saw Ryan much the guy to me that I thought was the best on the mound when I saw him was Randy Johnson
I met Ryan's Son through the Round Rock Express. Attended quite a few games there. Spent a lot of time in their private suite at games. Met, and talked to Nolan on several occasions. He seemed standoffish at first, but as time went on, pretty much just enjoyed talking baseball and his special beef cattle he raises.I was intimidated and a bit in awe of Nolan Ryan I admit. Man has a presence about him and the Robin Ventura flashbacks did not help
Really a private guy from my interaction. He did a 15 minute Q&A with our Kia dealers that was unplanned he just loved it. But we were told in no uncertain terms no autographs or photosI met Ryan's Son through the Round Rock Express. Attended quite a few games there. Spent a lot of time in their private suite at games. I originally met them through the Millers, who were in positions with both the Rangers, and Express.
Haven't seen any of them in several years. The Millers have since retired, and I doubt the Ryan's spend much time around Dell Diamond, which is really a sweet place to watch baseball.
Meh it's just him on a power trip wanting to be in control all the timeEvery player has an ego, that’s not even debatable. There is a major difference between pride and philosophical especially in this case. It’s philosophical about culture which has nothing to do with pride
Johnson main thing I remember him was the dove. Ryan main thing about him is the guy was intense he wanted to win above anything else.Different style pitchers.
Both brought the heater, but Johnson was so long and tall the batter felt like the pitch was coming from 1st base.
Ryan came straight at you with the air horn blowing.
Like most players yes but it’s more than that.Meh it's just him on a power trip wanting to be in control all the time
