Rodgers doesn't trust the Front Office, he wouldn't negotiate into a non-guaranteed back loaded contract

I would be more concerned about it being leaked that they added more years and I still turned it down. That would give him control over his own timeline.

Maybe not if the bonus money was tied to roster bonus. Structure matters

I think there was some new money guranteed I just don't know how much it could have been very low and the highest paid money was all base salary he never sees later in deal

Right now Rodgers does not have much if any leverage but he’s controlling the story line and narrative. “Will and when will he report”. So FO leaks a very vague sound bite that they offered yada yada yada so move the narrative. Actually not a bad move

At this point I think timeline means nothing to him he wants out.
