Packers 2022 Thread

what that tells Mark is he's coming back...they won't have any extra cash again so less draft picks same old same old
Really? I thought the opposite. Seemed very boilerplate and not nearly as effusive as in years past.

What it tells me is Rodgers has not decided what he's going to do and it's on his time to decide.

imho, rodgers does not want to end his packers career with a season like this. i know a lot of folks want to say that rodgers has lost it, but (again, imho) i think the broken thumb, the crappy o-line play and the inexperienced/injured receivers have had a lot more to do with his personal performance than father time. and i'm sure that he feels the same way and wants to come back next year with a chip on his shoulder to prove the doubters wrong.

all conjecture on my part. just a hunch.

This comment to me is important
Aaron Rodgers asked about Christian Watson’s rise potentially being a reason he returns in 2023:

“I left Cal and I could’ve came back with DeSean Jackson at receiver and Marshawn Lynch in the backfield … I say that because the way Christian has developed…”.

My take ….it was a lock he was gone after this year by mutual consent but the kids, 9& 87 have given him some doubts to hang it up

Question.

Could they redo the deal again to make it more cap friendly or are we screwed up the pooch?
