Bright spot in Bucky Football

WI is 76th in stop rate stopping 60.2% of drives from scoring and only giving up 2.3 points per drive.

Stop rate is based on not allowing opponents to score by turnovers, downs, or punts

McIntosh is not going to fire his guy he hired. Only way Fickell probably goes is if McIntosh is shown the door and I doubt the Chancellor is going to fire him unless there is enough revolt among the donors. With a billionaire donor just backing McIntosh who knows if that happens again next year even if the football program has another horrible year and only wins 2-4 games. The school is also cheap and probably waiting until it goes under the $6-7 million buyout mark before they will be willing to eat the cost to fire him and his staff.

I am old enough to remember what happened with Don Morton....same BS again. This is about that damn buyout and Chris M ego. When it's said and done, both he and Luke F will never be able to show their face in WI again.

The chancellor will resign or get a better opportunity. This time will take UW a lot longer to dig out of.
 
McIntosh said nothing at all in fixing this. Just a bunch of talk were he says nothing really at all. This program is going to get worse under there leadership
