Post Game Eagles Edge Out Packers 10-7

So, we have a bad offensive line.

Even our coaches must see that.

What's infuriating and I think poor coaching is our coaches stubbornly try to run the offense they want to if they had a good offensive line.

I don't have all the answers. But, I do think a quick hitting, Bill Walsh west coast offense would work better. Except, from the football smarts shown each week, I doubt that the players and coaches are mentally able to do it.

I'm lost.

But, what I know and believed even during the great first weeks is that our offensive line can't power LaFleur's offense. Yet, he stubbornly just bangs his head against the concrete wall.

Coaching to what you want rather than what you have is bad coaching.
Issue is that ML had to accommodate Rodgers. Rodgers was not going to go to a run heavy scheme. But Jordan Love is also not Aaron Rodgers who can elevate the passing game himself nor does Love have a elite WR who can just make plays happen. So in doing such you do need the run to happen to open the passing game.

We're only two weeks removed from Jordan Love going on the road and throwing for almost 400 yards and 3TDs, and now we have idiots in the media saying "oh he's not it. he can't play. he's not a franchise QB" We've just seen him have huge games. We've seen these WR have big games at different times. We've seen Jacobs have huge games. But at any point this season have you looked at a single OL and said "that guy had a great game"?

I guess that's where my head goes with all this. Certain players have shown this season that they can have big games and others have not. So if I'm looking for problems with personnel, I'm probably going to focus on that latter group.

So much crap out there on social media, none of it gets to the root of the problem. Short week, so GB doesn't have the luxury of dwelling on it.

Who's going to coach a bunch a UDFA quality players and do any better?
and who keeps stocking the team wit that kind of players? that's why gute has to go. he clearly isn't capable of building a super bowl contender. he makes bad decisions during the draft and (except for parsons) tries to go cheap in free agency. but, as mark said. he's not going anywhere because ed policy isn't an x's and o's guy. he's a bookkeeper. he sees the dollars pouring in and everything's okay.

Go look at what Hav did in LA. He had a couple good games so it's risky. But overall he's not much better. McManus was gold before he got hurt
"he's not much better". but even if he's only a little better, isn't that a reason to play him?
"McManus was gold before he got hurt". but the point is that he is hurt and he's clearly not ready to play yet.

If he goes back to the LA guy he's a worse option, that said Mac should have been on IR 3 weeks ago, thats a team medical staff issue.

Yes McManus himself has said this past week was the first week he finally started feeling healthy. There is no reason you are playing him if he was hurting. You only run the risk of the injury becoming worse and as we have seen him missing kicks that were likely part in due him not being healthy. This lays at the feet of Rich B. If he was worth anything as a ST coach he would have know that you are not running a kicker out there who is hurt.

I disagree, it falls on the medical staff, the ST coach and HC get medical updates daily. If he's too dinged up to kick the medical staff needs to tell them that.

I agree that the Med Staff is the first line. But, even though he's been medically cleared, don't the coaches see that he can't perform. AND, then shouldn't there have been better investigation into this situation.

First, Medically is he cleared to play.
Second, if he's medically cleared, is his performance back.

This isn't a Keg Man type guy who's cleared and asks which wall you want run through. This is a very technical and precise athlete that needs to have his kicking stroke perfectly grooved - like a golf swing - or it doesn't work right.

Overall dropping of the ball regarding this.
