We just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have been holding teams to 13 points! Man, sometimes can y’all? Please stfu and enjoy great defense! Why do you think teams come into the games that were going to run the ball on 3rd and long? What effect do you think that is? Please stop giving people’s mics or listening to trash!

Let me address this, and I'll generalize it. You can practice, hurry up until the cows come home, and be perfect every time, and then crap the bed live.

Consider in this game, the starting center you used all season is out, big issue number 1. So the whole operation, timing-wise, is toast. Second thing, in a hurry, we have Doubs out, who has become the go-to guy as well as Kraft. Those two were conversation machines.

The formation thing is a league point of emphasis that everyone thinks is stupid (However, it's okay to jump offside by a full second?) Musgrave is trying to play Kraft in this scenario, and he's getting his ass handed to him.

That whole 'hurry up' segment is a predetermined set of plays, and Love has to pick one, line them up, and go. In this case he should have checked out. If you're going to bitch about coaching, then Stenavich is your guy. He crafts that play sheet, and along with others, they give Love those calls during the week.

My point is, there is a whole hell of a lot more to it than just one thing, etc.You can NOT just take it at face value without taking into account those injuries before and during the game. We've been talking about bad depth for months now.
I get all the confounding factors that happened during the game that contrubuted to the 4th down failure, but doesn't anyone on the sidelines see the misalignment and therefore potentially call it out or get a timeout called before the snap, given that its a point of emphasis. Also, since it IS a point of emphasis and was called earlier in the game, go over it again with your receivers on the sidelines before you get to a make-or-break situation later in the game. I'm not even calling out the timing and playcalling issues because like you said, in the heat of the moment, stuff happens. Wicks shrugging at the late game misalignment call tells me he didn't know what he did wrong and to me that's a coaching issue.

Wicks never looks to the side judge...thats a player issue in my book.

You are correct. And, sometimes the other guy just makes a play.

And, I acknowledge injuries.

But several times illegal formations. Jumping. Sorry. The guys need more focus.

And, it still is a coaching issue. Hey Du _ _ _ _ s, look at the side judge to confirm your position. It's the little things.

About Mark's post about Love's pressures.

I don't know how the offensive linemen. The Big Guys the protectors. I just don't know how they can walk into the locker room each week without being pissed, getting their dander up, and just for criminees sake hitting somebody in the wrong colored jersey.

It's going to be equally tough for the rest of the year. They're viewed as soft pastries. Defensive Linemen are salivating.

Watch the whole play... thats inside zone to the left of the QB.... the hole is there if Jacobs steps right and one cuts left...he ran right and never cut back to the gap, which opens.

OK, the gap opens. But, looking at it through the video that was posted about the Pack not taking its time, yes it opened but the angle to get to the gap - to me - looks cut off by the avalanche of Eagles flying through the Pack blockers.

I applaud you for trying to make it not as bad as it is. I really do. And, Football Xs and Os wise you are right on the button.

But man oh man, when it counts our guys sure seem to get beaten indivdually or mess up their assignments.
