  • G Aaron Banks (back)
  • WR Christian Watson (knee)

  • Elgton Jenkins (back, NFI)
Offense:

  • Starters : Love -Jacobs - Walker - Morgan - Rhyan - Monk - Tom Kraft - Mustrave- Wicks - Doubs (Andy Herman)
  • First play - Love to Wicks off play action for a nice pickup. Another clean catch from 13. Musgrave did a nice job helping on Gary. (Andy Herman)
  • Golden end around - nothing doing. (Andy Herman)
  • Tom false start (Andy Herman)
  • Jacobs for a couple - Wyatt & Gary converge. (Andy Herman)
  • Love dealing early. Finds Doubs over the middle. Fake end around to Golden, play action, Doubs settles in a zone, slightly high throw but Doubs brings it in easy for about 16. (Andy Herman)
  • Willis with a keeper on a read option and a fantastic job by Chris Brooks getting out on the block to make it a big gain. Brooks does everything well. (Andy Herman)
    • I may have jinxed him too. Brooks with a clean drop in the open field. (Andy Herman)
  • Cox all over a play action fake. Willis gets it off to Golden for a few. (Andy Herman)
  • Wilson for a few up the middle off a can call from Clifford after seeing Bullard creeping up. (Andy Herman)
  • White slips down on a toss play after a pickings couple. Defense was swarming. (Andy Herman)
  • Josh Jacobs with a nice, 7-yard run off left tackle, but he fumbles. Romeo Doubs recovers. (Ryan Wood)
  • Doubs with a sliding catch against Nixon. Nice throw by Love. I think that’s only the 2nd completion that Nixon has allowed over the first few days. (Andy Herman)
  • Matthew Golden just broke his second down the left sideline. A gain of at least 20, if not a TD. (Ryan Wood)
  • Willis rifles an out route to Hardman which Kalen King dives for but it zips right past his fingertips to Hardman for a nice pickup. Willis’ arm is legit. (Andy Herman)
  • Willis to Hicks on a comeback for about 7. (Andy Herman)
  • Ones up next. 1:20 left. 1st and 10. Tie game. Ball on own 35.
    • Love to Doubs for a few. Clock ticks. (Andy Herman)

    • Clifford to Shepherd for a few. Oob (Andy Herman)
    • Shepherd with a sick double move on Micah Robinson who bit hard and Shep was going to be wide open deep. Robinson wisely holds him to make sure it wouldn’t be completed. PI. First down. (Andy Herman)
    • Clifford to Johnson for a few. Clock ticks. (Andy Herman)
    • Clifford to Sam Brown for a few. Clock ticks. (Andy Herman)
    • Clifford to Hicks on a slant. First down. Timeout. Ball on 15 yard line. (Andy Herman)
    • Clifford with a dime to Sims in the back corner of the end zone. Would have been a td but sims couldn’t get his feet in. Incomplete. (Andy Herman)
  • 1’s get another chance at 2 minute. Run to Brooks. Doesn’t go for much. Clock ticks. (Andy Herman)
    • Love to Brooks for a few. Oob. 3rd and 6 upcoming. (Andy Herman)
    • Love to Kraft for about 4. Somehow they gave him the first down. It looked well short. Gave him oob too. (Andy Herman)
    • Love to Wilson on the Checkdown for 5. Clock ticks. Timeout. 35 seconds left. 2nd and 5. Ball at midfield. (Andy Herman)
    • Love atones. Wicks with the deep post. Wide open. Love hits him in stride. About a 50 yard bomb for the TD. (Andy Herman)
      • Wicks beat King & got behind McKinney. King flagged for holding, declined, TD Wicks, we all get somethin’ to talk about. (Marques Eversoll)
  • Wicks looks fantastic. Getting open per usual - catching everything his way. No I don’t believe in jinxes and yes I still have all my Wicks stock. (Andy Herman)
    • I may have jinxed him. Love to Wicks over the middle. Gets to his hands but Wicks can’t hang on. Tbf there was super tight coverage by Hobbs and it may or may not have been early. (Andy Herman)
  • Jacobs short run. (Marques Eversoll)
  • Jacobs broke a big run. (Marques Eversoll)
  • Brooks dropped checkdown. (Marques Eversoll)

Defense:

  • Starters: Gary - Wyatt - Clark - LVN - Cooper - McDuffie - Simmons - Hobbs - Nixon - Williams - McKinney (Andy Herman)
  • Julian Hicks gets tangled up and falls m in No 2 two minute and leads to Carrington Valentine’s second INT in as many days. (Weston Hodkiewicz)
  • Ones up next. 1:20 left. 1st and 10. Tie game. Ball on own 35.
    • McKinney lunges to breakup a second and 4 pass for Kraft in two minute (Weston Hodkiewicz)
    • LVN with a coverage sack on Love. 10 had nowhere to go. Defense wins. (Andy Herman)
  • Threes up next. 1:20 left. 1st and 10. Tie game. Ball on own 35. (Andy Herman)
    • Good pressure by the defense. Clifford wisely throws the ball away.
    • Clifford well behind Hicks in the end zone. Had him but missed him. Ball tipped by DB but falls incomplete. (Andy Herman)
  • 1’s get another chance at 2 minute. Run to Brooks. Doesn’t go for much. Clock ticks. (Andy Herman)
    • Doubs beats Nixon off the line. Love goes deep. Had him but Love under threw it by at least a yard or two. Nixon breaks it up easily. (Andy Herman)
  • Love to Wicks over the middle. Gets to his hands but Wicks can’t hang on. LVN also would have had a sack on this play. Great rush against Rhyan. (Andy Herman)
  • Nate Hobbs drills Dontayvion Wicks to the ground on an in cut route over the middle. Forces a Jordan Love incompletion, but also a talking to from Matt LaFleur. Looked like Wicks got up ok, but slowly. (Ryan Wood)
  • Love pressured, incomplete. (Marques Eversoll)
  • Bullard, who’s been the nickel with ones, punches ball out from Kraft after an underneath completion in team (Weston Hodkiewicz)
  • Carrington Valentine having an active first couple days. Already has two INTs and just had a sideline PBU while smothering Matthew Golden. Throw was a little high from Malik Willis. Valentine let the rookie hear about it after. (Matt Schneidman)
  • Johnathan Baldwin with his first really nice play of camp. Baldwin ranges from center and breaks perfectly on a ball from Clifford over the middle to break it up. Baldwin is still listed as a CB on the roster but he’s been all safety since minicamp. (Andy Herman)
  • Zayne Anderson drops a pick from Willis. Prob an ill advised throw. (Andy Herman)
  • Herring with a nice pbu on Sam Brown on a throw from Elgersma. Pass defense was really impressive today outside the bomb to Wicks. (Andy Herman)
  • Practice ends with a Tyron Herring PBU (Weston Hodkiewicz)
  • Packers defense wins a second straight day, and Xavier McKinney —who had one hell of a practice — counts out the pushups for the offense. (Ryan Wood)

  • McManus is 13-for-13 in camp. A perfect 7-for-7 today. (Ryan Wood)

Practice is finished: 1 hour, 59 minutes

Interviews:

  • Matt LaFleur
    • Savion Williams will not practice today. MLF declined to say why. (Andy Herman)
    • Says Aaron Banks is day-to-day with a back injury. That’s why Travis Glover took reps at starting left guard in multiple team periods yesterday. (Matt Schneidman)
    • On new team president Ed Policy: "We have a great relationship. He's a guy that I certainly have a lot of respect for. ... I feel like we're in great hands with a guy like Ed Policy." (Jason B. Hirschhorn)
    • On Matthew Golden: "I still think there's a lot going on upstairs. Once that calms down and he has a great grasp of what the expectations are, I think you'll see an even better version where he's able to play even faster." (Jason B. Hirschhorn)
  • Anytime the Packers are asked about left tackle Rasheed Walker, the answer is some version of... "He's capable, but he needs to be more consistent." (Zach Kruse)

OL blocks like that during the season we will struggle....
Hard to tell, but I think it was the Rhyan-Monk combo on the interior right side. Looks like Wyatt ripped around and under Rhyan there but it’s grainy.

So that LT needs to step out or slid left...he has to know that and pick LVN. They see him everyday...LVN is a pure outside guy. WTH isn't that an easy pick up? Coaching...lack of instinct.... I don't know.

But you damn well better fix it.

Edit it's #63.... Walker
