Again, Granato can recruit the hell out of the development leagues but he can't get his teams to play defense with any sort of consistency. Or find a good goalie. I feel sad that we long for the days of Scott Gudmanson and Brett Bennett.
And sure, the team is 6-8-0 right now, but that sweep of Duluth looks less impressive with each weekend that goes by, and the other four wins are against teams that just joined D1 hockey and aren't even postseason eligible.
