We looked pathetic out there. Same defensive lapses as last year, but absolutely 0 offense threat to make up for, or even provide some counter-pressure.
Hopefully there's more urgency in practice. Last year there were some early season surprises (sweeping Notre Dame) to go along with the early season disappointments (getting swept by Michigan and Arizona State) before the team settled into a groove.
This year, the OOC schedule is tough. If they don't pick up a win this weekend, there's a real potential of going 0-fer for a month until playing Michigan State.
Granato's seat has to be getting warm with how little he's done with the talent accrued. Losing the tourney title to Minnesota because of the same, season-long mistakes and then getting bounced in the first round of the NCAAs more than washes away how well the regular season looked last year.
