The Wisconsin Badgers have added North Carolina corner back, Madison Cone to its 2017 recruiting class.
The five foot nine inch corner back from Kernersville, North Carolina announced via twitter earlier today of his commitment to play football and further his education at UW-Madison.

The 175 pound, three star recruit is the tenth member of the 2017 Badger recruiting class. According to an interview with Scout.com, Cones plans to graduate next year in December from East Forsyth Preparatory School so he can get to Madison for spring practice.
“My goal is to play early.” Cone said, citing his relationships with running backs coach John Settle and defensive backs coach Jim Leonhard as to way Wisconsin was his number one choice.
What sealed the deal for Cone, however, was his official visit to Wisconsin.
“I was blown away — by the town, the people and atmosphere. The campus, facilities and business school were also amazing.” Cone said, “It just has everything I’m looking for and I think it’s a great fit for me.”
Despite signing day for the 2017 class being a little over nine months away and offers from the likes of Mississippi State and Clemson, Cone says he has has made his final decision.
“I don’t plan on visiting any other schools,” Cone said. “I’m looking forward to the next four to five years and can’t wait to get Camp Randall jumping.”
