We're in last place? I guess I was wrong in the preview thread. It couldn't get worse.
I imagine that in a few weeks, all of our high falutin draft picks will be calling their NHL teams to tell them they're ready and requesting a plane ticket.
I imagine the call will go like this:
High Falutin Badgers Draft Pick, "Hey Coach / GM, I'm ready to come up. Can you arrange for my plane ticket?"
Coach / GM, "Sure kid, your 'plane' ticket is at the bus station. You'll report to a Reggie and McGrath."
Caufield's Coach / GM, "Nous ne parlons pas anglais. Qui est-ce?" Or "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper!...... I fart in your general direction! . Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!"
