Badgers run over Nebraska once again

Wisconsin came in to its game with Nebraska in firm control of the series between these two teams. Despite a slow start, that grip on the Freedom Trophy was even firmer after a 41-24 victory on Saturday night. I hope we get our secondary back, healthy and ready to play when we travel to Michigan.

An undermanned secondary against Michigan will cost us dearly.

Happy with the win. Gave up some stuff on defense, but that's not surprising given that they were injured, really young and inexperienced in the secondary, and that Nebraska has a pretty dynamic offense - Frost's strength. The thing is, Frost wont turn that thing around until they get a handle on playing some defense.

The concerning part was that the front seven weren't all that stout for Bucky. The OLBs weren't getting home much and the DL was pretty well stone-walled by the Husker O-line. That does not bode well for their games against the Wolverines and Nittany Lions.

Hopefully they get a little healthier by next week.

Nice win last night but it's painfully obvious that we are too young on defense to do a lot this season, we'll win the west and get a nice bowl game. 2 solid recruiting classes coming in so the future is bright.
