The Brewers came closer to a playoff berth with a 12-4 romp over St. Louis and Christian Yelich in essence claimed NL MVP honors with six more RBI.

Cardinals didn't want nothing to do with Yelli tonight. 0 for 0 with 5 walks, and he still scored all the Brewers runs.
 
I don't know how you can talk Baez as MVP over Yelich. Yelich has better stats pretty much across the board. Trails him Baez by 1 HR and handfull of RBI. Besides that Yelich top 10 in every hitting category while Baez is not. Baez getting love for MVP because he's a Cub having a good year. Jason Stark wrote article on Atheletic saying unless Brewers win divison he will vote Baez because the Cubs "won" IMO a guy who votes MVP over another guy because that team won a division should have his vote removed.
