The pop in Jean Segura’s bat has somehow, inexplicably, disappeared. Coming into Thursday the Milwaukee Brewers shortstop had exactly two extra-base hits since June 1, a span of 61 games, 248 plate appearances and 239 at-bats. Both were home runs.
