Let's also remember that at a variety of times this year Tretter was not an option because Lindsley was not 100%. They need him to play center or be ready to play center so having him at OT was not an option.
Some of the production they got from Cobb playing in the backfield makes me wish even more that we had a smaller speed back who's a pass catcher as a wrinkle for the offense. Maybe next year with Monty back he and Cobb can do more of that if we don't draft a back like that.
