Packers sign RT Wagner from Lions

"In 2019, Wagner was the sixth-worst offensive tackle in the NFL (minimum 700 snaps) with a blown-block rate of 4.0 percent on runs and passes, according to Sports Info Solutions. On running plays, Wagner gave up five stuffs, defined as a running play that’s stopped at or behind the line of scrimmage. His stuff rate of 1.8 percent was the second-worst among offensive tackles, according to SIS. For comparison, Bulaga had a bad-block rate of 2.3 percent and allowed just one stuff for a stuff rate of 0.3 percent."

How much Hooper get?
Record setting deal all time for TE's. I read first year is a $15 million hit. I'd rather look elsewhere. That's way too rich given GB's cap situation.

I love it that Gute goes after FA to fill holes. That was sorely lacking for a long time!

going cheap just means you end up regretting. i mean seriously, even though it only cost us $4 million guaranteed, why sign a contract with the 6th worst offensive tackle in the league? was the worst guy not available?
Wagner is a stopgap I fully expect them to go OT early in the draft.
