Why? They already had some nice UDFA's, and plenty to bodies to finish out camp and the preseason. No chance this guy makes the 53. Ted has a real fascination with WRs.
 
why would they need an extra camp body at receiver? there's only two qbs throwing balls right now.
 
Due diligence for the practice squad (he's already the second biggest body on the active roster behind Janis) and in case of injury down the depth chart.
 
This after talk last week of interest in Wayne. Thompson once again was out scooped by the Pats.

The Reggie Wayne 'talk' was put out there by his agent to try to get more money from the Pats. I'm sure GB called with some degree of interest but it's become pretty common for agents to use GB's perceived roster holes as leverage for their clients.

As Packer fans we should know better - Ted doesn't give a damn about perceptions, he'll go into the season with Graham Harrell at #2 QB; start MD Jennings at S; start Alex Green at RB just to spite us.
