Post Game Packers Slip by Redskins 20-15

They play up to opponents and down to opponents. Then again they didn't rise to.the Chargers or Niners.

Nice to see Pettine at least try something new, with Za'Darius inside and Gary at LOLB.

I thought Josh Jackson held up.
 
It's going to be a tough week on the players. It's crunch time, and if the HC ain't happy, the players can expect to hear about it. They have 3 weeks to perfect their game.
 
Geronimo almost cost us dearly, again. I just feel like he is too inconsistent. Is Ryan Grant really worse than that? If so, why is he on the roster?

Why is Geronimo in on 4th down? Dude is is a blown play waiting to happen.
 
Started out a house on fire on offense and defense.

Then the game fell apart. Defense held on with pressure and turnovers as per usual.

But the offense was in a funk. By design or fear or the refusal of the QB, they play the entire game through Jones/Williams and Adams. Everything else is specialty plays or extended offense. Working as well as it did last year.

Subbing in Willams early probably hurt Jones success in running the ball.

Z hurt his leg/hammy, but was back on next series.

Packers pass blocking is porous at times and Rodgers can't hold onto the ball like that. Had a dumb turnover because Bulaga got beat backside like a drum. Still with that damn long count too often.

Secondary plays a bit more solid in the middle but MP can't play cover 4 /2 and not get home on the blitz.
 
And there were a lot of times where Aaron had no pressure on him, but nobody was open. Appears the receivers still don't understand how to work their routes . . . that being said, Aaron was not sharp either today.
