Interesting thought. Probably depends on if there is anyone else on his board worth the pick when Petty is there. If Petty is there in the 3rd, and you have nobody on your board worth the value of that pick, so you go for Petty? I'd imagine if he is there in the 4th you'd take him anyway because it'd be a decent value.

but with so many holes to fill and need for depth on defense, not sure I'd use a 4th or later on a QB...
