WATCH: Greg Gar’s first words as interim head coach of the Badgers

Greg Gard was always favored by Bo Ryan to be the next head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers. Many thought it would be the plan following the 2015-16 season, but few saw it all coming so soon. Gard will take over as interim head coach immediately and will have a full Big Ten season to audition as the head coach on a permanent basis.

Here are his first words to the press following Ryan’s retirement announcement:
