Another guy with under 4.4 speed. I do like speed in DBs. When you're running a defense like we have, you need to have guys who have enough speed for single coverage on the outside. Can't have sloggers wearing snowshoes.

Yup, other than Josh Jackson, Gute clearly wants speed, speed, and more speed at the CB position. Read one little piece on him that talked about him being better in press coverage than off so he's a scheme fit as well.

Decent developmental guy who you can maybe stash on PS, though there is certainly room for him on the 53 man. The only seemingly sure bets at CB are Alexander, King and Jackson. Williams seems likely. Tony Brown could be good if he can play smarter. Holman might well fit as the 5th/6th guy at CB. Nice find even if he was a little further down on most boards . . . or not even list on some.

Looking at him he's going to be 25 at the start of the season on Sept. 18th So compared to other rookies he's pretty old already as guys his age are getting 2nd contracts and not just having rookie year.

Watched tape of 3 games from this young man. Not really very excited by what I saw.

Hollman

Played very soft, and seemed afraid of contact.

Since he will need to make the team (first) as a ST's guy, it makes for a big "?".

No, that video is not impressive. Coverage skills do not seem special and he certainly doesn't look too interested in mixing it up.

This pick seems like it was made purely on physical skills. Now, they had him in for a visit so hopefully they got a feeling about his desire to play football. I don't see any stats for him as a returner so maybe they see his role as a gunner and general special-teamer but he's gonna need to stick his nose in there more than you see in this video.

Remember this is a guy who was not recruited at all and had to send tape of himself to a bunch of schools. before Toledo made him a offer. Toledo was not playing against the best of the best so this was just a pick that you take not expect anything more then being a ST player perhaps for his whole career but teams always need those ST aces.

U roll the dice to see if u strike gold again in a couple years of developing. Shields was undrafted with these type of meaaurables. Not the same apple to apple comparisons outside of those
