Packers 2023-24 Season Thread

Thing is is they were so done with him they should have never caved in and gave the cap killer contract they did to him last year. He would have been coming off a MVP season and the Packers probably could have traded him for what Seattle got for Russell Wilson. Not wanting to move him when taking a huge cap hit and getting less is like pissing in your ceral and that deciding to eat it.
Perhaps what made them done with him was paying him a king’s ransom to come back and then having him completely blow off the team all off-season when they needed him to be there the most. Not excusing them because ultimately they need to know what they’re getting themselves into but he had a responsibility to the team and he didn’t hold up his end

Even if he returns I don't expect him to attend OTA's or play in pre-season games to work with youngr players. Rodgers feels he's entitled enough to skip as he does not need to put in extra work. He's just barely better than Favre who would play his retirement games right up until the eve of TC so he could miss all the off-season.

If they bring him back while letting him get his own way on everything, shame on them. You can only get fooled once

Like him or not he has had better inside sources than anyone over the years.... sh))
I will also say this, everyone else has been focusing on “what will Aaron do?” “what does Aaron want?” Bob is not pretending he’s heard anything from Rodgers, this is the first and strongest word yet about what the Packers might be thinking.

As much as I don't really care for McGinn, I sure hope he's right on this one. It didn't seem likely (to me) that the Packers' powers-that-be would be the ones to pull the plug on Mr Rodgers and I figured 'we' were just stuck with his ridiculous crap for another year or so.

Again, I really like the 'old' AR, but now I'm totally convinced that it's a possibility that he could show up in Green Bay with a horse trailer having now decided that he's a Knight's Templar after conversing with an ancient Sinclair in the dark for 4 days. lol! Not that it wouldn't be interesting, but afaic, he's just not into FB much anymore.

So would he join the cast of Oak Island to dig for the possible treasure the Knights Templar buried hundres of years ago?
