Post Game: Falcons run by GB 25-24

Kinda looks like they're learning to drop games to inferior teams.
I do like his enthusiasm. :)

Big issue for me here is this is not a new group of guys with a new DC learning a new system or anything. These are veterans with experience on def with a DC who has been here. They should not get any leeway for how they play.

If the DC can't harness the talent he has then he needs to go. It's not like Barry has a great resume and this is a fluke. This is history repeating itself.

I fear the inability to get this DEF in order or find someone who can will start affecting ML's coaching legacy and reputation. This DEF is stacked with talent it's not like he's having use to late round scrubs.

I hope self-preservation comes into play at some point here. He's trying to develop a young QB and young TEs and young WR and trying to get these guys to learn how to win, can't have your defense scuttling the whole operation.

what do you change to in empty in that formation? Cover 1 and that slants a TD, Cover 3 is still an easy first down. Not sure there is a better answer
Maybe you just tip your cap then? Unless they called TO, remove Campbell and replace him with a DB, but I guess then they hand it off and get the 1st that way
