Post Game Thread: The Giants defeat the Packers 24-22

Yep the all mighty Richie is not pulling his weight as this great ST coach. For what he's being paid GB should say if you want to find a new job we won't stop you.
He has low key gotten away with grand larceny with this team. Gotten everything he wanted, including a say in personnel. It’s not his fault Nixon made a dumb decision and blew that punt but Nixon made all pro last year and i believe still leads the league in KO returns. It’s the penalties and piss poor coordination. Very disappointing job by him overall.

I think there are problems within the coaching ranks, but it's also the responsibility of players to play within the boundaries of the game. This constant barrage of stupid penalties on critical downs is killing us on both sides of the ball. No matter how hard you work at it, as a coach, it still comes down to the players execution during the game, and their avoidance of stupid mistakes that leads to penalties. Apparently we have some nitwits on the field who don't seem to understand that premise, and because we don't have the depth, they can't pull them out of the game and sit them in a corner with a dunce hat on.

But, as I said, we have problems in the coaching ranks. On defense, it starts with that stupid late game defense that is making me want to pull my hair out. They play so soft that they can't stop anyone from going down field and scoring. It's happened so often that a lot of us just know the game is going to end in disaster, if the opposition has at least a minute to navigate from their own 25 deep enough to either score a TD, or kick a game winning field goal.

It may be on Barry, but in all honesty, what's wrong with LeFleur? Why is he letting this happen? Is he that oblivious to it that he doesn't see the problem?

I think the Packers like to bury their head in the sand and ignore the problem. Outside of firing MM in season GB will not make a coaching change at the a cord level or higher almost ever. With GB it's sink or swim.

I don’t know what ML wants. The Barry defense is built to play in tandem with an offense led by Rodgers and Adams and Jones and scoring ~30 per game. It’s a viable defense for that kind of team. GB doesn’t have that right now. The Love/Watson/Dillon offense is scoring ~20 per game. Maybe ML sees it as his own job to get the scoring up and then the D will work better in tandem?

Thats soooo much BS.... everytime they lose you start this.
Mark just saying that his play calling has a lot to be deseried he never seems to change in game he sticks with what he planned. Also I think this anyaltic coaches can shove that crap were the sun don't shine I don't think it works.

I am lost in tandem. Explain this?
