The Packers wideout suffered a serious knee injury during his final appearance of the 2015 season.

Injuries for Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb garnered the majority of the attention in Green Bay last season, but fellow Packers wide receiver Davante Adams dealt with health issues as well. However, the full depth of his injuries remained unclear for much of the offseason. According to ESPN's Jason Wilde, Adams tore his MCL during the third quarter of the Packers' wild-card round matchup with Washington.

The torn knee ligament capped off an injury plagued sophomore campaign for Adams. In Week 2, the wideout suffered a low ankle sprain during the second quarter of the team's tilt with the Seattle Seahawks, and injury he re-aggravated the following week after only three snaps. The ankle cost Adams three full games and contributed to his largely ineffective play throughout the year.

Still, while Adams endured a highly disappointing second season with the Packers, he exhibited a much improved form during the team's playoff appearance in Washington. The wideout caught four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown before the torn MCL forced him out of the game.

With Nelson coming off a torn knee ligament of his own and Cobb struggling with increased defensive attention last year, Green Bay could certainly use more big performances from Adams during the upcoming season.
