Markus Allen a Badger

Markus Allen, a 4-star/3-star WR has committed to Wisconsin as part of the 2021 recruiting class. He's a bigger bodied guy at 6'2"-200#. I've read that his game is a little reminiscent of Quintez Cephus. He will be a solid and welcome addition if that turns out to be true.

Allen had previously committed to Michigan but decommitted in September. Alvis Whitted has done a nice job recruiting since joining the Badger staff after his short stint with the Packers. The addition of Allen helps Wisconsin maintain it's top-20 class ranking for 2021.

Good pickup. Seen him play a couple times. Will be rooting for the young man!

We still need to bring in some guys with world class speed who can stretch the field, and keep defenses honest. That would be the icing on the cake, and with someone like Mertz, make him even better. It would also help our running game. Nobody could sell out on our run game.

This is the Badgers second WR of the class and they did get a highly rated TE so I think the Badgers are pretty much done for the 2021 class but will be interesting to see who they bring in for 2022.
