Post Game Packers Defeat Panthers 24-16

An ugly game we should have probably lost...... not much else to say tonight.
Agree, Carolina has a better offense they win this game. The Packers OL was straight out trash. They had zero answer to the Panthers pass rush. Our WR's could not get any seperation. Seems we played a lot of soft coverage again on defense letting Carolina to keep converting on third down. I will say again this team gets sizeable leads going into halftime and they go super conservetive and don't make good halftime corrections allowing the other teams to adjust and come back. This is something the media should but will not call ML out on for is his and his staff poor 2nd half record. Tonight GB looked just like last years 13-3 team that did not match it's record and got it's but kicked in the playoffs.

Lazard and Adams had 16 passes thrown there way in the game. Only one other WR had a pass thrown to them tonight and that was MVS with one pass attempt. You can't keep dealing with a inept WR group that is useless on the field outside 1 or 2 players.

#Packers coach Matt LaFleur said he probably got away from the run too many times in the third quarter and there were runs where the looks the #Panthers gave them dictated that they throw the ball. He said they'll have to look at that this week.

CAR looked enthusiastic, their D was flying around.

I don’t get the move away from the run game. So Carolina adjusted their look pre-snap? So what, run it any way until they prove they can stop it consistently. Better Jones or Dillon get tackled behind the line than Rodgers. They were all over those pass adjustments anyway, flying down hill and blowing up Adams and Jones on those quick outside passes.

Ugly win, not worth a rewatch, but counts in the standings.

This is who the Packers are... An average talented team with a future HOF QB and WR to keep them in it...

Then again the NFL in general this year is awful so it's not like GB is an outlier.....

This is how it is gonna be for most games, an ugly ugly win... But that in itself might be enough for a playoff win or two.

Just another day at the office.

Play a solid first half, and then a “turkey like” induced coma in the second half.

This game was shades of the Colts game all over again, except the outcome.

A win is a win, but you don’t have to feel good about it.

Matt Rhule to Melissa Stark RE Bridgewater fumble: I told him from Day 1, we don't reach the ball across the goal line.

Huh? If the number one offense in the NFL is average talent then 31 other teams are below average? Tonyan, Jones, Adams, Rodgers are pro bowl caliber weapons. The o line has been outstanding all year. They had a bad game last night but name an offense with more weapons right now. KC?

Yes KC and they also played against several depleted defensive teams throughout the year... when they play teams with a solid front 7 or speed they struggle.
