Post Game: San Francisco defeats GB 37-8

If the offense doesn't have play makers, it needs to stop running plays which require playmakers. The offense needs to move faster and needs to execute quick hitting plays. They keep the chains moving and will tire out an opponent's defense. It can be done, it just isn't being done.

That would require 1 or 2 WR who can beat one on one press coverage (we dont have 1 or 2), a TE who can find soft spots and get free in the seam (dont have one of those), OL depth to keep #12 off his ass (dont have that now either) So if we dont have playmakers let run the Woody Hayes 3 yds and cloud of dust system and see how that works.

I saw GB running tons of quick hitting plays. Their DBs were flying in like banshees and stopping us for small gains, or forcing drops. For those to work you need guys with quick feet who can get make a guy miss and accelerate, and you need your other WRs to run up and block and do it well. Do any of those attributes apply to Geronimo Allison? Alan Lazard? Jake Kumerow?

If we wanted to do anything at all last night they needed to establish a ground game, and they couldn't because our OL couldn't hold up to their pass rush and we don't have a George Kittle to destroy coverage in the middle of the field.

Lets try this again....if you trade Rodgers after the season you get a $53.7m dead money cap hit. #2 he was extended prior to ML, #3 he still the best QB in the game and this team is 8-3 #4 the alternative is? .....now thanks for playing and pick up a copy of the board game to take home
If you trade him, the other team gets the contract.

104 yards and 1 of 15 on third down is not the best. Like I said, we can get that from Boyle.

Sure they do and the signing bonus gets accelerated with GB holding the bag, read the CBA, nice try

Boyle the answer....yeah take a look at #12's game logs...enjoy

We had 4.2 per carry on 28 attempts. Not bad, imo.

Can also be renegotiated as part of the trade. Presuming we didn't already cover the bonus in the first 2-3 years.

Also presuming we trade for picks, those will all be rookie contracts, not expensive.

NO IT CAN NOT, read the CBA ....really its not that difficult

Absolutely pathetic performance up and down the roster from a team that just didn't look prepared. That's 100% on the coaching staff. LaFluer's inexperience really showed through on this one.

Oh well. On to the next one.
