A year ago, I said that Rodgers should have never been activated after his shoulder injury. I've always indicated that playing with the injury could have an adverse effect on his future play. I've watched it play out all of this year, and today it was so obvious that almost anyone could see it. His deep throws are horrible. He has no touch. His motion and even his plant have changed minutely, but it's enough to stop Rodgers from being Rodgers.
I have this horrible feeling that the Rodgers we saw today is the Rodgers we'll be seeing as long as he's in Green Bay. It's a damned shame because you don't flush a man's career down the toilet over one lousy possible win when it doesn't mean a damned thing.
Just a reminder of part of our discussions on this in the past. There are more. Look them up. This one deals with his being in concussion protocol. Rodgers injuries
