Wisconsin men's hockey folds down stretch in season-ending loss

Old Yeller put out of his misery

Not without giving us a big dose of Hope on Friday night, which was crushed in the last 30 seconds, then buried in OT.

And then again with Saturday night mounting a comeback to get within one before giving up 3 goals in the last few minutes.

It should be the end of the Granato era, which given the hype, his reputation, his style, and the types of recruits he's brought in, should have gone very differently.

One regular season championship in seven years. 1. And it needed that year's Hobey Baker winner to get there.

1 regular season championship followed by an ass whooping in the tourney

That first round was the most embarrassed I've ever been as a hockey fan, and that's saying something since I went to every home game in Eaves' 4- and 8-win seasons.
