With Pick 140 GB Selects OT Zach Tom Wake Forest

Bak was originally profiled as a G. They said he lacked ideal length to play T.

So I guess these “profilers” don’t always get it right.

It depends on where GB thinks he can play.
GB moves him to DE. LOL

Yeah I remember it was supposed to be guard for him and then Bulaga went down with the ACL on family night, they tried Bakhtiari over there and he just kept holding up. It didn't make sense from a measurable standpoint but he was fast with his feet and enough of a technician to just do it. Then he added weight and strength which turned him into an all-pro.

Not forecasting the same for Tom of course but for whatever he lacks in mass or length, he seems similar in possessing other qualities. Maybe playing inside is the best for him but would like to see him get a look outside.

All three of Rhyan, Tom, and Walker should get a look at RT

I know we're crossing the streams here, but Walker seems like the exact opposite of Tom, in that he's all measurables but lousy technique, which is one of the reasons he dropped. We'll see how it shakes out.

Walker was also injured late in the season and could not work out at Combine, pro day, etc.
It’s, at least, an equal reason that he dropped in the draft.

He should have been a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick

Don't sell Tom short. He could end up being a surprise package in a year or so. He kind of reminds me of Elgton Jenkins when it comes to his ability to move around on the line. This could be one of the most underrated players taken in this draft.

I'm going to watch for him to be out there with the best of them not later than 2024.

Maybe Packers get Lucky with Tom, Rhyan, Walker, and along with Myers and Jenkins Packers could have a new starting 5 and move on from Bak after this year.
