You totally missed what I said. You're wearing blinders on this. Every year, there are walk ons that join college football players, who are getting private scholarships to attend school. Those scholarships are not linked to the sports program... so they are not part of any maximum quota allowed. They are based on academic, need, or any other criteria the person/people offering it want to place on it. Those walk ons also miraculously land part time jobs, often as assistant building managers, or some other menial task, which turns into free lodging, and pays a small stipend, which converts into meal money. In other words, they are pretty much getting as much as the athletic scholarship athlete.
Since their name would be on a uniform, it would mean that by rule, they too would share in the NIL program, because that is a personal issue, not an issue related to scholarship.
You need to think like someone who is going to skirt the system, not have guard rails when applying the rules.
