clearly did not watch the video. it was one play, and the clip stopped like three seconds into the play.
Watched video I am just saying pre-season matters podo( To many people act like this guy has a big pre-season he's going to catch 100 passes 1500 yards and 15 TDs

2022 Training Camp Update: August 16th - Joint Practice with the Saints

General:

  • Full pads, joint practice with the Saints today. Packers are wearing white.
  • Welcome to any Saints fans who might be joining us, we have user flair available for you here.
  • OL Cole Schneider and CB Donte Vaughn have been released since the last update thread and TE Nate Becker has been signed.
  • And now we've released RB BJ Baylor, OL George Moore, TE Dominique Dafney and LB Ellis Brooks as well.
Injuries: OL David Bakhtiari (PUP-knee), K Mason Crosby (PUP-knee), RB Kylin Hill (PUP-knee)

Not Practicing / Limited: RB Patrick Taylor (groin), Darnell Savage (hamstring), S Dallin Leavitt (shoulder), DL Akial Byers (toe), OLB Tariq Carpenter (knee), OL Elgton Jenkins (knee), TE Robert Tonyan (knee), WR Christian Watson (knee), Innes Gaines (?)

Offense:

  • Elgton Jenkins is in full pads for today even though he'll just be doing individuals.
  • Starting OL - Yosh - Runyan - Myers - Hanson - Newman
  • Watkins - Lazard - Lewis - Cobb - Jones - Rodgers round out the starters.
  • Jones gets stuffed on first play.
  • Unreal pass pro by Marcedes Lewis on the edge. Gives Rodgers time but pass is broken up. Ref calls dpi on Saints. (Lattimore with some PI on Doubs, looked like he got there early)
  • Dillon tries to bounce outside - Saints defense all over it.
  • Patrick Taylor stuffed by Malcolm Roach.
  • Former Badger Zach Baun gets to the sideline for another stop of Taylor.
  • Tom working as the second team LG.
  • Jordan Love finds Tyler Davis in stride on a crosser.
  • Rodgers tries to No look Lazard in the flat but its off target.
  • Cameron Jordan doing Cameron Jordan things and busting through the OL for a stuff of Dillon.
  • offensive line not getting much push vs. Saints defensive line up front
  • Lazard comes open on a deep crosser that Rodgers hits but looks like there was a penalty on the offense - possibly OPI.
  • Holding on Winfree (seemed a bit weak) but a nice swing pass to Jones comes back.
  • Pressure on Love forces a quick incompletion.
  • Packers offense off to a rough start. Two false starts, hold, and a possible OPI. Not doing much against the Saints defense.
  • Nice cut by Dexter Williams but not much doing.
  • Make that three false starts.
  • Love misses Danny Davis over the middle.
  • Nice block by Zach Tom and a great cut by Dexter Williams. Pick up of about 5.
  • Rodgers and Winfree not on the same page along the sidelines.
  • Rodgers misses Watkins badly - he had a step.
  • Jordan Love tries to hit Malik Taylor deep down the left sideline on third & 9, but his pass is under thrown. Saints CB Bradley Roby picks it. Caleb Jones got a pancake on the play. There is a flag (offsides Saints).
  • Love to Hyman for a nice pickup.
  • Chase Hansen breaks through for a would be sack on Rodgers.
  • Better series for Rodgers and the offense, two connections with Jones and now a slant to Watkins.
  • WR Danny Davis limps into the Hutson Center with a couple trainers.
  • Romeo Doubs with a nice catch on an out route to the right sideline from Aaron Rodgers. Got both feet in. Can’t keep the rookie from making a play in a practice.
  • First team redzone drills end with an Aaron Rodgers to Sammy Watkins touchdown. Watkins was all alone in the endzone.
  • Good protection buys Love time and he finds Winfree who makes a scooping catch for the last TD of red zone.
  • Aaron Rodgers gets Saints defense to jump offside, and he hits Sammy Watkins deep down the right sideline for a likely TD.
  • Romeo Doubs toasts Saints CB Bradley Roby deep down the right sideline, but the Packers rookie drops a perfect ball from Aaron Rodgers. Oof.
  • Sammy Watkins with an outstretched catch over the middle. His best day of camp but it gets called back on what we think is a holding penalty.
  • Aaron Rodgers hits Allen Lazard deep on the right side and Lazard went up to grab it over CJ Gardner Johnson in coverage 40+ yards. An absolute beast mode leaping catch by 13. Saints arguing that Lazard didn't maintain possession but refs call it a catch.
  • Dillon nice run up the middle. The offensive line has settled down nicely today.
  • Rodgers tries to hit Tyler Davis on a slant but not on the same page and ball hits Marcus Maye low but in the hands. Falls Incomplete.
  • Pressure by Saints leads to a Rodgers throwaway.
  • Rodgers incomplete to Doubs on the outside. Ball was overthrown.
  • Packers settle for a FG attempt in 2 min . False start by fg team backs it up 5 yards. Ahmed good from 40.
  • Packers number two offense goes nowhere and doesn’t pick up a first in 2 min drill.
Defense:

  • Jameis Winston (foot) is here at joint practice but not participating. Watching Andy Dalton taking the snaps at quarterback in Green Bay.
  • M. Thomas dropped an open crosser from Dalton.
  • Kamara short catch. Quay & Dre all over it.
  • Chris Olave catches a deep out from Dalton vs Eric Stokes along the far sideline. Good timing by Saints
  • Ingram run goes nowhere.
  • Devonte Wyatt getting a rep up front with first defense.
  • Preston Smith in good position on Kamara for checkdown in flat. Then Kenny Clark meets Kamara behind the line to wreck a run.
  • Thomas hauls in a crosser after dropping one earlier. Looked like Packers were in zone on that one.
  • Rasul Douglas PBU and he’s happy to talk about it. Coverage against Landry on a short comeback.
  • Jarran Reed and Rashan Gary meet at the QB to force a checkdown.
  • The entire front collapses the pocket but credit Preston with the “sack”. Reed, Clark, Gary the others.
  • Kamara drops a pass, ball ricochets in the air and Trautman comes down with it.
  • Lowry busts through the line, Dalton throws one 10 yards over the head of Thomas. Alexander jawing at Michael Thomas as after.
  • McDuffie all over a Landry crosser. He’s been great.
  • Kobe Jones and Devonte Wyatt combine for a sack. Give the nod to Jones.
  • Quay Walker comes off the edge and forced a hold on Ramczyk - Quay still would have got the sack. Wow play for Quay.
  • The Saints OL has had no answers for the Packers front. Immediately surround Dalton here and tip the ball at the line.
  • Dalton is struggling. He misses Thomas again - Douglas all over Thomas on another high sideline throw.
  • Defenses are absolutely dominating both sides early.
  • And Taysom Hill drops an open cross over the middle.
  • Book hits Baker for a decent pickup.
  • Book having a little success against the Packers’ second team defense.
  • S Shawn Davis picks off Ian Book throwing over the middle to Olave, and takes it to the house.
  • Rasul Douglas is talking an incredible amount of shit. Just a preposterous amount. All of the reporters are mentioning that.
  • And another sack. By my count that’s like 1,000. Gary and Preston combine for this one.
  • Kamara with a sweet cut - Amos fills the gap nicely.
  • Vernon Scott all over a quick completion.
  • Jarran Reed has been a revelation. Wins quick inside and stuffs Ingrim. 90 has made plays every single day. Unreal start for him.
  • False start on Saints, who then take short crosser to Kevin White for about 5 on third & long.
  • Saints offense performing much better in red zone drills. Couple of nice catches by Kevin White and Jarvis Landry. A nice run by Mark Ingram.
  • Quay Walker finding out that Alvin Kamara is not a fun matchup. Beautiful quick little out route by Kamara to get open outside for a touchdown.
  • Lowry with a great pressure and then bats the pass away. This defensive line remains super impressive.
  • And right after the line combined for a sack. Credit the coverage on the back end.
  • Enagbare getting in on the sack party. It has been insane to watch the pressure this defense is getting.
  • Kamara with a couple nice runs back to back.
  • Thomas actually gets a catch on Jaire. Super rare. Quick in breaker and Jaire was still all over it.
  • Gary temporarily went into the Hutson and talking to the team doc but looks like he's back out at practice now with pads and helmet but not actually participating in team work.
  • Kobe Jones having a sneaky strong camp. Combines with Slaton for a tackle at the line.
  • Ento can’t hang on to a one-handed pick with the twos.
  • And now Kobe Jones with a sack. I think he has 3 sacks and a stuff already today.
  • Nice play by Enagbare in the backfield. Talk about a player coming on over the past week.
  • Now Enagbare and Tipa meet at the qb for a potential sack.
  • Book responds with strong throw over middle to Smith for nice gain.
  • Enagbare just closed the back door to perfection. Came right down the line and made the tackle in the backfield. He played that beyond perfectly.
  • Nice leaping catch by Taysom Hill in tight coverage vs Thomas on a dart from Ian Book to set up a field goal in 2-minute work.
  • Rashan Gary not with the ones in 2 min defense. Make of that what you will. OLB Kobe Jones is instead. Gary on the sideline with a helmet on. - Gary was about to go back in before getting held back so it looks like nothing serious.
  • Saints offense loses their 2 min drill. Alexander broke up 3rd and 8 pass over the middle intended for Michael Thomas.
  • Packers 2nd team in 2min: DL: Lowry, Wyatt OLB: Garvin, Galeia ILB: Barnes, McDuffie CB: Jean-Charles, Gafford, Nixon S: Scott, Davis
  • Tipa with a sack in 2 min drill. Garvin in the area too.
  • McDuffie, I think, with the big hit in two-minute.
  • TJ Slaton with a sack on Book. Coverage was fantastic downfield. And that's it for practice.
  • Gary is jogging off the field all smiles. No noticeable issues.
Special Teams:

  • Adrian Amos is the personal protector again on punts with Leavitt out.
  • In punt drill, Packers gunner Rico Gafford just got blocked about 5 yards out of bounds against a Saints double team. Almost took out about 10 Saints players on their sideline in the process.
  • Now Samori Toure gets mauled out of bounds by Saints double team as a gunner. Saints players had moved their sideline this time. Wise choice.
  • Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas are perimeter blockers on punt return.
  • CB Kiondre Thomas just stonewalled Saints gunner Tre’Quan Smith out of bounds. Didn’t let him get 5 yards downfield. Smith incredulous with ref for not throwing flag for continuing to block out of bounds.
  • Ahmed drills em from 50, 51 and 54.
Practice is over.

Next Event:
Joint Practice with Saints, August 17th

Media:

  • Elgton Jenkins drilling video
  • Jordan Love net drill video
  • Two absolute legends Photo
Interviews:

LaFleur
Presser:

  • No one-on-ones today; maybe tomorrow, LaFleur says. "These guys are competitors and that's what we love about them but sometimes that's where tempers start to flare."
  • Jenkins, Watson and Tonyan will do individual drills but won't participate in the 11-on-11 sessions.
  • Matt LaFleur says there will be two officiating crews for joint practices.
  • LaFleur said the two teams will have a two-minute period at the end of practice like they normally do. He said there will be other situational periods, including some tough third down situations that won't favor the offenses.
I appreciate these updates. One stop for everything. br)

So see Rodgers called out the WR's saying they need to get better.

He called out the fan favorite of camp in Doubs for dropping passes

Though fairly enough saw one sports writer later say well were was Rodgers working out with these guys after the summer.

Which is fair Rodgers is a self entitled asshole who will scream at guys on the field during games for a mistake and call them out to the media. Perhaps he needs to hold himself accountable if he wants to be the so called leader of this team and take the extra mile to work with these guys.

Running wrong routes is not #12’s issue. It’s part of any rookie WR learning curve. He said Watson was a “work in progress”. Noting wrong with that.

I can only think of two rookie WR in the past 25 years who weren’t a work in progress

Instead of calling them out to media why not work with them more.

He was asked the question, he answered it. It’s not pop Warner football. As the HC is Foxboro once said “do your damn job”.
