2023 Badger Football Thread

Seems like Fickell not sold on any QB on roster next year to start for him.
you need 3 running the raid...not 1 not 2 but 3 guys. Why, because they want to use that run/pass option. Guys get hurt that way... need a full QB room.

PS Not Fickell's deal, he's not PC. Longo is making that call as he runs the offense, is the QB coach and recruits that postion

You can never get too many solid QBs in your room. Van Dyke sounds like a potentially solid option.

Has anyone heard if UW has any interest in Elijah Green? Was UNC top RB in 2022 but really did not see field much in 2023. Could Longo go after him?

Kind of surprised UW would not make him a target if he was a Longo guy in the portal with a big need at RB.
They have a 4 star and a 3 borderline 4 star kid coming in the next class(2).... working hard on a 4 star in 25. Unless you want more guys in the portal gotta be careful with that.

So you think UW will go right away use true freshman at RB?

The RB room won't be hurting next year. My concerns fall more in the area of the offensive and defensive lines. They're already shoring up at linebacker, and DBs. They're being methodical, and looking to improve the depth across the board.

This season will live up to everything I thought it could possibly be, if the Badgers knock off LSU.

The future looks bright!
