General:
Returned:
- Welcome to practice #17
- Padded Practice
- Second-to-last practice of camp
- Monk, Lloyd, Sorrrell over in the exercise area with the rehab group. X once again working with a trainer but with helmet and doing some backpedaling. Savion with helmet off to the side doing some catching. Don’t see Aaron Banks. As mentioned earlier Kenny & LVN back.
- After practice, Packers QB Jordan Love is throwing to Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. They’re not running routes but they’re lining up at distances where Love might have to put the ball if they were running them.
- LVN might be the only pass rusher to generate a pressure vs Morgan all summer.

- WR Christian Watson (knee)
- DE Collin Oliver (hamstring)

- Wilson smokes hopper on the route but drops the ball!
- Cox vs Belton and Belton anchors for the win.
- Starters: Willis - Jacobs - Kraft - Musgrave - Hardman - Doubs - Walker - Morgan - Jenkins - Rhyan - Tom
- Elgton Jenkins does a great job of finding work and picking up a block to allow Willis time to throw deep downfield to Musgrave for a big gain.
- Elgersma finds Neyor over the middle for a sliding catch.
- Good ball from Love to Kraft on a 15 yard post. Sharp so far.
- Love starts 8/8 in 7 on 7 with a short out to Golden, check down on a swing to Wilson, a nice over route to Kraft then a short completion over the middle to Musgrave.
- Follows it up with a checkdown short to Hicks, a short completion to Fitzpatrick outside, about a 10 yard in to Hardman over the middle, and somehow fits in a throw to Musgrave down field with Quay in coverage.
- He then has a pass go off the fingertips of Hardman and throws a bomb to Doubs for a deep touchdown with Valentine beat on the play. Probably 40 yards in the air. (7-on-7) Good start for QB1!!!
- Doubs with a nice catch on the sideline on a comeback from Willis.
- Wow. Malik Willis with a brilliant deep ball to Matthew Golden for a 46 yard TD. One of the prettiest sequences of camp.

- Starters: LVN - Clark - Wyatt - Gary - Cooper - Quay - McDuffie - Nixon - Valentine - Bullard - Williams
- Lukas Van Ness busts through for TFL of Jacobs in 11 on 11.
- Wooden and Cox don’t bite on playaction to force Clifford incompletion
- Javon Bullard is having a really good day. Jumps a pass and almost picks it off. Hes off to a hot start today.
- McManus calls PI on Nixon vs. Doubs. Yes, McManus who is playing an official today.
- LVN meets golden in the backfield on an end around in team.
- Edgerrin Cooper with a likely sack on Willis coming off the edge against Zach Tom. Coop just so damn fast.
- Kalen king with a fantastic rep in run defense to shoot through the line on a toss and stop Jacobs in the backfield.
- Arron Mosby with a would be sack against Belton.
- Packers kicker Brandon McManus is not suited up. Instead — he’s wearing the stripes. McManus is one of today’s refs at practice. This is not a drill.
- McNamee goes three for three, makes from 33, 43LH and 44 RH
- Simmons and Melton the first gunners on punt coverage.
- Hardman and Nixon the primary PRs.
- McNamee makes his next set of three from 33, 46L and 49L

- Love complete over the middle. Clock ticks.

- Incomplete. 2nd & 10. 52 seconds left. 1 timeout. Ball around the 38.
- Swing pass to Brooks for about 4 but clock ticks. Timeout.
- Love to Hicks complete. Out of bounds. First down.
- Practice ends with Evan Williams colliding with Tucker Kraft to prevent a fourth-and-2 completion.
- Matt LaFleur
- On Love: "I thought it was good to get him back out there, back into the mix, into the rhythm of playing quarterback."
- They will have 7-on-7s during the joint practice to make sure Love can get some reps vs. Seattle
- Says Omar Brown isn't back yet. He's getting better but they haven't released him yet.
- Says there's "no concern" for Lukas Van Ness with his back injury.
- Says QB snaps are "fluid" for Saturday's preseason finale vs. Seahawks, but he's expecting Malik Willis to get a "pretty good run." Expect QB2 to play a lot.
- On Ty'Ron Hopper: "Hop's done a really nice job. He's shown a ton of improvement, really in every facet of his game, on defense, on 'we-fense.' We always knew he was going to be a physical presence. You could see that going back to his college tape. But he's got a better understanding of what is required of him for that position."
- Jokes (?) the soft beds they stayed on in Indy led to back injuries for Kenny Clark, Lukas Van Ness and Aaron Banks. Asked specifically about Van Ness, LaFleur says there’s no concern.
- On Packers left tackle battle between Rasheed Walker and Jordan Morgan: "We've got confidence in both of the guys. So that's always a positive."
