I've been around FB teams since 1983... 42 years. Can't disagree more. The fact that he said it means as a team leader, he's trying to temper expectations because it's a marathon, not a sprint. GB has needed someone to talk like that for several years... no BS, keep focused, and 1 game at a time.
He's not wrong, 2-0 doesn't mean s%^t. I've seen a lot of 2-0 or 4-0 teams crash... I've seen more teams get hot late and win it, and every blue moon, the almost undefeated or 14-2 and dominate team. Last point, you and I have no clue what's being said in that locker room. The cocky may need to be taken care of.
