Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

It’s still so early to be talking about any of this. If they started 0-2 I would be writing that off and saying there’s plenty of time to turn it around, and that would be true.

That said, I think right now I don’t sense any cockiness from them, what I sense is that for the first time in the last 10-15 years, I think this team genuinely believes they can win the SB. That they have the players and coaches to do it. It’s one thing to believe it in September, what will matter is if they still believe it in December.
they beat 2 teams, at home, that were in the playoffs last year. Now let's see what they do on the road the next 2 weeks. That will give us a bit more information about how good this team is.

Possible he returns late in season last couple weeks but all depends how GB season is going at that point.
I don't know if Reed actually had a Jones fracture because I don't know that he would've been able to play on it at all, let alone run at full speed, but say he did - everywhere you look says typical recovery is 3-4 months. 12-16 weeks. Realistically that puts him at mid January. I think we all hope GB is playing in mid January but we don't know that right now. If they are, knowing how cautious GB medical staff tends to be, I don't see him getting cleared on the early side of that timeline, and then just from a football perspective, how aggressive would the team be in inserting him back into the lineup after all that missed time? I just don't see it.

you may be correct, but he had some sort of surgery on his foot. we'll have to wait and see how long the recovery time is. i would think the longer recovery will be his clavicle, but i'm not at expert at all on surgery recovery times. but this is what my friend ai says:

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed underwent successful surgeries on both his broken clavicle (collarbone) and a Jones fracture in his left foot. The recovery timeline for a clavicle fracture is typically 6 to 8 weeks , and this is the expected timeframe for Reed's return to play. Although the foot injury originated in training camp, the surgery to repair it was performed alongside the clavicle surgery, and the recovery period for the foot fracture is expected to be consistent with the overall 6- to 8-week recovery window.

The collarbone is one thing, that foot injury is something else. I don't think we see him again this season.

He needed to get the foot done. To be honest, he was a warrior playing with that Jones FX. Those are no joke.
